CHEMICAL PEELS
At Tonic Body Spa,
we believe in delivering real, measurable results without surgery,
downtime, or excessive discomfort. Using
Institut’ DerMed’s
line of
professional products, we will put together a comfortable, non-ablative
peel that is customized to your skin. You won’t miss work, you won’t have
to hide from the world for a week, and you won’t believe the results!
Although they
are sold individually, chemical peels are often best when performed in a
series. They may also be combined with
Microdermabrasion and/or
LED Light
Therapy for optimum results. The recommended follow-up
skincare line for clients doing chemical peels includes
Institut’
DerMed™ and
Infusiderm™.
Cost - $100 (w/o extra services)
ACNE PEEL (30 MIN.)
Using the
naturally anti-oxidizing and exfoliating power of pumpkin enzymes, this
peel will remove dead skin cells and stimulate new growth. For severe
and/or active acne, we may use Salicylic acid, known for it’s
anti-bacterial qualities, or a Jessner’s Solution for intense
exfoliation. The treatment is further enhanced with the application of
specialized serums that are chosen based on your skin’s condition.
NOTE: There is little or no peeling associated with this treatment.
ANTI-AGING TCA PEEL (30 MIN.)
Considered to be the gold-standard of chemical peels, TCA peels will
address a wide range of conditions, including thick, dull skin, fine
lines, dehydration, pigment issues, and more. TCA peels are further
enhanced with the application of specialized serums that are chosen based
on your skin’s condition.
JESSNER’S PEEL (30 MIN.)
Used by
skincare professionals for more than a century, the Jessner’s peel will
superficially exfoliate the skin, reducing pustules and comedones
associated with acne, as well as the abnormally pigmented cells that are a
result of aging, sun damage, and hormones. Jessner’s peels are further
enhanced with the application of specialized serums that are chosen based
on your skin’s condition.
